Graduated from Birmingham School of Architecture in 1991. Gained experience of working both in private practice on commercial projects, and for the Landmark Practice Design Division of the West Mid­land Regional Health Authority on a range of health schemes up to £35m. Joined Horsley Huber in 1994 and was appointed as a director in 2005.
