St Peter's Collegiate Church
Description

A ramped access to the south porch was created and the south porch enclosed to create a more appealing all inclusive entrance to the church. Internally the works included the relocation of the existing Victorian choir stalls and misericords. Bespoke choir stalls were built so that the choir now faces the congregation. The original timber pew staging under the choir stalls was replaced with a stone flag floor at the same level as the floor elsewhere in the building. The temporary timber dais was replaced with a smaller octagonal dais. The altar that stands on the dais has an octagonal base that complements the octagonal column bases that separate the nave from the north and south aisles.
