This grade 2 listed church had suffered from the application of inappropriate surface weathering, which had lead to extensive decay in the main tower. The whole tower had to be restored by renewing all the decaying timbers, replacing the existing render with breathable lime rendered brick infill panels as the main tasks. For the inclusion of additional bells, concealed stainless steel straps were introduced to brace the tower, Finally, the clock, weathervane and leaded windows were restored.
