Description

The new facility relocated the existing MAU & HDU departments into one purpose built area and has reinvigorated one of the main elevations of the hospital, visually improving a main route into the City.

Externally the new bays are clad in a green metal cladding panel with an integrated cladding & glazing façade facing the Expressway. The main façade of the bays incorporates an irregular green & white pattern with random areas of glazing into the cladding structure.

The project has been shortlisted for the 2014  AJ Retrofit Awards in the Health category. The  project is just one of four shortlisted in the Health Sector from across the country.

The new facility will provide a majority of single patient rooms, two small multi bed areas, treatment rooms, various staff facilities, parent waiting area, including all the necessary toilet & shower facilities
