Description

Working with the stack holders, Walsall Council together the School and its Governor’s to provide a scheme of infrastructure upgrade, refurbishment and extension and works for the School to allow the school to both improve its facilities as well as providing further accommodation for the expansion of the school pupil numbers. All works which where strategically managed on site to allow the School to continue in operation, with the School also undergoing an ofstead inspection whilst the works were underway.

The main school was then provided with :

  • Expanded and improved flexible dining provision
  • Much needed breakout and intervention areas to assist teaching.
  • Refurbishment of a number of existing classrooms
  • A new dedicated food Technology area
  • A new classroom block for Years 5 and 6 with a large breakout space
  • Expansion of the Nursery
  • Separate independent accommodation for early years in terms of 2 year old provision
  • Out of hours accommodation

The school advised us that they were really pleased with the final result and advised that both the staff and pupils were enjoying working in their new and improved environment. Also advising that their new look also greatly assisted them in recruiting new staff.
