The design proposals for the school were part of a major development, consisting of six separate planning applications, including another secondary school, public playing fields and housing.
The Design Brief was prepared in collaboration with the client body, three local authorities, the Environment Agency and the Diocesan Trustees.
Construction commenced in January 2008 and was completed in September 2009, on time and in budget.
