The new primary health care centre sits on a corner site in South Birmingham, and forms part of a major LIFT initiative for Birmingham and Solihull. The building is designed to be approached via a quiet welcoming secure courtyard, which leads into a dramatic double height waiting space. All facilities are then quickly and easily accessed from this central space. 

Externally the building is designed to be a landmark on an important corner site. Good hard and soft landscaping is an integral feature of the scheme, and is used to enhance security around the building.
