The scheme involved the conversion of the former Gymnasium to provide accommodation for Music & Drama.The ground floor was split to form a large drama/dance studio, plus a music classroom & storage. Practice rooms were provided in a two storey extension, and acoustic doors installed to meet acoustic requirements. The first floor consists of further practice rooms accessed via a gallery, plus two ensemble rooms and a control room for the drama space.
